The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the order of the 2nd respondent passed in No.15111/DCE/A4/03-04 dated 08.03.2004.

2. The petitioner has challenged the notice dated 08.03.2004, wherein he was directed to pay the amount of Rs.50,820/-, towards recovery, which includes license fee and damage charges for the alleged illegal continued occupation of the quarters from 1985 to 1991.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent produced a letter received from the petitioner stating that the amount demanded in the impugned order has already been settled and the same is lying in the Government Account. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition and accordingly, the same is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs.
