The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the trial Court to expedite the trial in C.C.No.2839 of 2014 in Crime No.10 of 2014, on the file of the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai within the stipulate time.

2. By taking into consideration of the fact that the case proceedings are pending from the year 2014 onwards, there shall be a direction to the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.2839 of 2014 and complete the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
