Heard Mr.P.Pugalenthi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Rani Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to transfer the investigation pending in Cr.No.717 of 2012 on the file of Nellikuppam Police Station to CB CID.

3.The Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has filed a counter stating that the investigation which is pending in Cr.No.717 of 2012 on the file of Nellikuppam Police Station has already been transferred to CB CID, in consequence of the directions issued by the Director General of Police, Chennai.
