Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the death benefits of Late.R.Arunachalam who worked as Physical Education Teacher in the 6th Respondent school from 09.10.1965 to 01.09.1990 and consequently grant family pension to the petitioner. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner would state that her husband was working as Physical Education Teacher in the services of the R.C.M.Middle School, Jolarpet, Tirupattur Taluk, Vellore District between 09.10.1965 and 01.09.1990 and he died on 26.09.2013. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though her husband worked for 25 years and odd, the retirement and terminal benefits has not been paid to her and in this regard, she has been repeatedly submitting representation to the respondents and the last of such representation is submitted to the respondents on 06.01.2014 and it was returned with an endorsement directing the petitioner to approach the fourth respondent. Though the petitioner claim that she has approached the fourth respondent, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of Mr.T.R.Raj Gajenthran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5.
4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondents 4 to 6 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by enclosing a copy of this order and copy of her earlier representation dated 06.01.2014 and the respondents 4 and 5 on receipt of the same, are directed to consider the said representation on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
