The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to give the police protection to the church at penial society at 49-B, Alandhur Road, Saidapet, Chennai - 600 035 on meeting time 27.05.2023 to 28.05.2023 by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 10.05.2023.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the said representation of the petitioner, dated 10.05.2023, conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner and it is for the respondents to decide the same.
4. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
