O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.08.2020, wherein, the petitioner is requesting the respondent to conduct the inspection in the institution belonging to the petitioner.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner College is running B.Ed. Courses. The recognition was granted to the College from the academic year 2008-09. The petitioner College submitted an application for additional intake of students and the same was also granted, wherein, 50 students intake was permitted for the B.Ed. intake was permitted for the M.Ed. Course for the Academic Year 2020-21. The further case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made an application before the respondent University seeking for affiliation for the B.Ed. additional intake and M.Ed. basic intake along with all necessary documents. The petitioner also paid the necessary fees requesting the respondent to conduct the inspection for the purpose of granting affiliation for the Academic year 2020-21. Since the same was not acted upon, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 3.Heard Mr.R. Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.U.Venkatesan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to conduct the inspection in the petitioner Institution and pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
