Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue Patta in his favour in respect of the lands in Survey No.27/6C2, measuring an extent of 2088 sq.ft, known as Town Survey No.27/6C3, measuring an extent of 3094 sq.ft in Plot NO.3 and 4, Chidambaram Town, by considering his patta application dated 13.05.2015.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's application dated 13.05.2015, the 2nd respondent has not issued patta to him so far.
4. Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders in accordance with law, within a time frame, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 13.05.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
