This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 426 days in preferring the Criminal Appeal as against the sentence of lifetime imprisonment against the accused made in Spl.S.C.No.64 of 2022 by Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethimandram, (Fast Track Mahila Court), Tiruppur, dated 09.08.2023.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
