By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The father of the petitioner namely, K.Munusamy was working as Electrician in the services of Yercaud Town Panchayat, Salem District and he died in harness on 25.05.1989 and the petitioner vide order of the Collector of Salem District dated 04.10.1990 was given compassionate ground appointment as Bill Collector and though he has put in more than 25 years of service, his services are yet to be regularised and in this connection has submitted representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
06.08.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Mohamed Ismail, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
