O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of the first respondent in No.PCV/2003/1/6/2 dated 03.01.2006 and to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondents to extend grant of two advance increments on par with their juniors forthwith. 2.Heard the arguments advanced on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the pay of the petitioners 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 has already been stepped up on par with their juniors and the arrears was also paid to them. He further submitted that the second petitioner is eligible for stepping up of pay and since the second petitioner has died, if his spouse gives a representation, it will be considered within a period of one month. He would also submit that the third petitioner is also eligible for stepping up of pay and necessary orders would be passed within a period of two months.

4.The said submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents is recorded and this writ petition is closed. No costs.
