ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the second respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2022, seeking appointment on compassionate ground.
3. The petitioner's father A.Palanisamy was working as Driver under the respondent Transport Corporation and while he was in service, died on 17.11.2013, leaving behind his wife, daughter and three sons. After his demise, the first wife of petitioner's father filed O.S.No.210 of 2015 seeking terminal and monetary benefits and the above suit was amicably settled before the Lok Adalat in Case No.329 of 2021 dated 11.09.2021. She gave no objection to the petitioner for getting appointment on compassionate ground. The petitioner sent application on 11.10.2021 requesting to appoint him on compassionate ground. Further, he gave representation dated 05.04.2022 also to the
second respondent seeking employment. But they did not pass any order. Hence this writ petition.
4. The learned counsels appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the authorities concerned and appropriate orders will be passed on its own merits, in accordance with law.
5. Inview of the above submission and considering the limited scope of prayer and to meet the ends of justice, without expressing any opinion on merits, the following order is passed. i) The second respondent is directed consider the representations of the petitioner 05.04.2022 and to pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of . No
costs.
