Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to survey, measure and demarcate the petitioner's Survey Nos. 83/3, Palavakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District bearing Door No. 2 /73, East Coast Road, Palavakkam, Chennai City and issue Patta in the petitioner's name, within a time-frame.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to survey, measure and demarcate the petitioner's Survey Nos. 83/3, Palavakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District bearing Door No. 2 /73, East Coast 2/4
Road, Palavakkam, Chennai City and issue Patta in the petitioner's name, within a time-frame.
3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made representation dated 18.03.2022 to the second respondent seeking to survey, measure and demarcate the subject property and to issue separate patta and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2022 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.
5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, after affording an opportunity to the 3/4
