Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records of the notice issued by the 2nd respondent dated 20.1.2015 in Property Tax Bill No.05/058/1562 and quash the same and directing the 2nd respondent to consider their representation dated 22.1.2015 and assess the Property Tax in their names in respect of their respective portions in the property at No.1 Old No.17 "O.S.Complex", E.K. ORDER
Petitioner has come forward with the aforesaid prayer.
2. The petitioners are aggrieved by the impugned notice dated 20.1.2015 directing them to pay the property tax failing which the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
premises would be sealed. According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to various persons having their respective super built up area with proportionate undivided share in the land and hence, the property tax has to be assessed for the respective owners. Therefore, they submitted a representation dated 22.1.2015 seeking sub-division and fresh assessment of the property tax which has not yet been considered by the respondent.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, this court feels that it is suffice to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 22.1.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
