Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner's son and daughter viz., 1.J.Vignesh and 2.J.Tharani that they belong to Kurumans (ST) community based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner's brother's son and daughter viz., 1.Siddesh and 2.Suguna.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G. RAMESH,J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mrs.A.Srijeyanthi, learned Special Government Pleader is directed to take notice for the respondent.

2. It is averred in the Writ Petition that the petitioner belongs to Kurumans Community, which is a Scheduled Tribe Community and he preferred an application dated 10.02.2009 to the respondent, requesting to issue community certificate to his son and daughter viz., J.Vignesh and J.Tharani. The grievance of the petitioner is that so far, the respondent has not issued the community certificate to him and his son J.Tharani finished +2 examination and waiting to pursue higher studies. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to issue community certificate to his son and daughter based upon the community certificate issued to his brother's daughter viz., M.Suguna.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the respondent to consider the application dated 10.02.2009 filed by the petitioner for issuance of community certificate, on verification of necessary documents and after holding enquiry, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
