The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents herein to take all necessary action on his representation, dated 21.06.2003, to trace his missing baggage.
The case of the petitioner is that he found his bag missing, during his travel in a Plane belonging to the respondent/Air India on 20.04.2003 from Madras to Bombay and he immediately preferred a complaint to the 2nd respondent, requesting him to trace out his lost luggage, which contains his business stock books covering transactions worth about Rs.55,00,000/-. Inspite of the said complaint and a detailed letter dated 21.06.2003 to the respondents, requesting them to help him trace his missing luggage, no positive response is forthcoming from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Though the names of the respondents are printed in the cause list and the matter was listed more than once, none appeared on their behalf even today.

Hence, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's letter dated 21.06.2003, if not already disposed of, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
