Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the revision petition dated 09.07.2014 preferred by the petitioner after providing opportunity of being heard more particularly within a time frame as may be stipulated by this Court.

Heard Mr.J.Pooventhera Rajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Manohar Sundaram, learned Additional Government Pleader (Taxes) appearing for the respondents.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to dispose of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the revision petition filed by the petitioner, dated 09.07.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader (Taxes) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, I direct the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner, dated 09.07.2014, if it is in order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the parties concerned.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
