[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband viz., Ganapathy, aged about 50 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that her husband Ganapathy, aged about 50 years, went missing from 12.10.2017 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure him. 3.

(Crl.Side) submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Kattumannarkoil Police Station Crime No.521 of 2017 was registered on 13.11.2017 for 'man missing' and investigation is in progress.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore Sub-Division, to monitor the investigation in Kattumannarkoil Police Station Crime No.521 of 2017 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when Ganapathy, aged about 50 years, is secured, he shall be produced before the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Kattumannarkoil, under intimation to the petitioner.
