The instant writ petition has been filed seeking the relief of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2025 and consequently issue directions to the 2nd respondent to implement the order in Ref. Na.Ka. No.1857/ B1/2023 dated 26.10.2023 to get selection grade arrears from 09.02.2017 and to get annual increment arrears from 01.01.2024 in accordance with law.
2. Heard Mr.D.Bharathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent the representation on 21.03.2025 claiming arrears and Selection Grade pay.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader would draw the attention of this Court about the letter dated 09.11.2024, wherein the proposal sent by the Management was returned for want of further particulars. However she would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation within a 2/4
reasonable time and would submit that they would take a final decision in pursuance of the above letter dated 09.11.2024.
5. In such view of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to bring the issue in the proceedings of the District Educational Officer in Na.Ka.No.7992/A5/2024 dated 09.11.2024 to its logical conclusion, within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
