O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 5 not to give approval to the layout proposal submitted by the sixth and seventh respondents in Tambaram Town Survey numbers 24/6, 24/7 and 15 Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District in the irrigation area/utilisation of Selaiyur lake.

2. Mr.V.Vargees Amal Raja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that pending disposal of the writ petition, respondents have approved the layout and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition, for further adjudication. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No liberty is required as it is always open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
