Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant an extension of time in Crl.O.P.No.8934 of 2020 dated 30.06.2020 for the petitioner to appear and production of sureties before the Special Judge for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. B.ARAVINTHAN, Advocate for the Petitioner and of MR.C.E.PRATAP, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 30.06.2021, this Court had granted bail to the petitioner on certain conditions. This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time to appear and to execute the sureties.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons shown in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the prayer sought for by the petitioner deserves to be considered favourably.

3. Accordingly, time is extended by a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for the petitioner to appear and to execute the sureties. All other conditions remain unaltered.
