This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents police to appoint a competent police officer to investigate the case in Crime No.317of 2017 on the file of the 3rd respondent police and to fix the time to complete the investigation and to file final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case to transfer the investigation to any other agency. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.317 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
