The husband of the petitioner died on 25.09.2014. It is the grievance of the petitioner that she was not paid the benefits consequent to the death of her husband. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.01.2015 requesting the first respondent to pay her the statutory benefits. Since there was no follow up action taken by the Corporation of Chennai, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 10.01.2015 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
