ORDER

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 4th Respondent to dispose of the representation dated 02.04.2025 submitted for issuance of patta in respect of the house property bearing Door No.132, Velachery Main Road, Venkatapuram, Saidapet, Chennai- 600 015 in the name of K.Thangam, Sree Renu, Sree Badra, Sudhir Raja Ravindran and Sree Kala

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioners had submitted an application dated 02.04.2025 for issuance of patta. The said application was acknowledged by the respondents but no proceedings has been initiated till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. At the outset it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents that the petitioner has not taken out an online 2/4

application and if an online application is taken out the same would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view thereof, the petitioner is directed to file an online application and if any such online application is filed by the petitioner, the respondent shall consider the application and dispose of within a period of 8 weeks from the date on which the online application is filed by the petitioner. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. .
