Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2017 and pass order on the same in regard to promotion of the petitioner as Assistant on par with juniors w.e.f.30.11.2012 and also promotion as Deputy Block Development Officer w.e.f.05.08.2016 with all consequential benefit based on the Government Order issued in G.O.(1Pa).No.447, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa.a.4) Department, dated 19.08.2015.

O R D E R
The relief sought for in this writ petition is, for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30th January 2017 and pass orders with
regard to the promotion of the writ petitioner as Assistant on par with his juniors with retrospective effect.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner contended that in respect of the claim made by the writ petitioner, he has submitted a representation on 30th January, 2017 to the first respondent and the representation was duly forwarded by the Block Development Officer, Kancheepuram to the first respondent in his proceedings dated 3rd February,2017. In spite of this, no decision is taken by the first respondent with regard to the claim of the writ petitioner.
3. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 30th January, 2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of and however, there is no order as to costs.
