ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the second respondent herein to register the complaint dated 7.11.2014.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has not made his appearance.

3. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner and the persons mentioned in the complaint have entered into an agreement with regard to construction work and during the course of existence of such agreement, the persons mentioned in the complaint have put up some construction and it was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

subsequently fallen down and further the persons mentioned therein have cheated the petitioner. Under the said circumstances, the complaint dated 7.11.2014 has been given to the second respondent, but the second respondent has not registered the same and therefore, present petition has been filed.

4. Considering the nature of relief sought for in the petition, the following direction can be given to the second respondent:

"In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The second respondent is strictly directed to look into the complaint dated 7.11.2014 and if any cognizable offences are made out, further directed to take appropriate steps as per law."
