PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent police to fully investigate the case and to file charge sheet in connection with FIR No.19 of 2019 under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b), 352 and 506(ii) of IPC on the file of the first respondent within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police to fully investigate the case and to file charge sheet in connection with FIR No.19 of 2019 under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b), 352 and 506(ii) of IPC on the file of the first respondent within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 23.09.2019, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned counsel for Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
