ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the 1st respondent to pass final orders on the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.701/2022/C1 dated 14.12.2022 by the 3rd respondent and Na.Ka.No.4466/2022/A1 dated 12.04.2023 by the 2nd respondent on compassionate basis in the office of the 3rd respondent.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that when the petitioner's father was working as Sanitary worker in Palladam Municipality, passed away on 22.04.2022 and thereafter, the petitioner has sent application for compassionate appointment. It is the further submission of the petitioner that during 2023, the 3rd respondent has favorably forwarded the proposal to the 2nd respondent on 14.12.2022 and since then, no 2/6
order has been passed by them. Subsequently, the 2nd respondent has forwarded the same to the 1st respondent dated 12.04.2023. It is also the further submission of the petitioner that since 2012 December 23, no order has been passed by the respondents.
3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation and pass order within a reasonable time.
4. I have given my anxious consideration on either side submission.
5. In view of such fair submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to consider the proposal forwarded by the 3rd respondent within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in its own merits and in accordance with law. 3/6
