The present writ petition has been filed with a limited prayer for issuance of a writ of mandamus or direction to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2016, in which the petitioner has requested the respondent to release the security deposit and EMD amount for the works done and completed by the petitioner with respect to the years 2006-2007 to 2014-2015 as per the statutory norms and guidelines prescribed under the terms and conditions of the contract. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This Court, considering the limited prayer, without going to the merits of the matter, putting on notice the learned Government Advocate for the respondent, hereby directs the respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2016 and dispose of the same on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
