ORDER
The petitioner had applied for electricity service connection in the name of Sri Arulmigu Gundanthottam Sri Kanniyammam Koil ('temple') in Survey No. 1887/1B3, Seshathripalayam, Pazhani Street, Little Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram District. The application was filed by him in the capacity of trustee of the temple.

According to him, his predecessors were instrumental in the construction of the temple and have been performing pooja in the above temple as well as in Sri Ramabiran Hari Bajanai Koil, situate in No.113, Thirukatch Nambi Street, Kancheepuram District. He is aggrieved by the efforts of the sixth respondent to take over the management of the temple administration.
3. A Suit has also been filed in O.S.No.74 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif, Kancheepuram, seeking declaration to nominate only persons forming part of the petitioner's community, including the petitioner himself, as trustees of Sri Ramabiran Hari Bajanai Koil. The suit is pending.

The petitioner has filed a complaint before the official respondents seeking alleviation of various grievances as against R6. Since there has been no effective action by the respondents, he has 2/4
come forth with this writ petition.

Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, who appears for R1,R4 and R5 and Mr.K.Tippu Sulatn, who appears for R2 and R3 would assure the court that necessary action will be taken on the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.05.2024, in accordance with law.

Hence mandamus is issued to R4, being the Vigilance Cell, TANGEDCO, to hear the petitioner as well as R6 and dispose complaint dated 20.05.2024, in accordance with law and strictly in line with the principles of natural justice, within a period of six weeks from today. 7.
