The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC in Crime No.61 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner received a sum of Rs.6,50,000/- from the defacto complainant for arranging Government job in the Department of Atomic Energy, thereby, the petitioner failed to arrange the job and not repaid the said amount. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would submit that he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

gsk complainant. There are seven previous cases are pending against this petitioner in other IPC offences. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, and also considering the fact that it is a case of job racketing, this Court is of the view that this case needs detailed investigation and not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
