This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner on the basis of the complaint preferred by the his wife and her relatives.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that under the pretext of enquiry, the police is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that it is only a family dispute between husband and wife and the parties are relegated to Civil Court.
