This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2022 and consequentially, direct the second respondent to issue trading licence for the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner he is engaged in business in a premises situated in the second floor, J.J.Mee Foods at No.13/06, Velayutha Raja Street, Mandaveli, Chennai - 600 028. The petitioner is engaged in Noodles manufacturing business without getting proper trading licence. Therefore, his unit was sealed by the respondents officials.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the second respondent on 22.09.2022 requesting to grant permission to enable him to continue Noodle manufacturing business in his premises. The petitioner also undertook to get necessary trading licence from the first respondent. 2/4

4. The petitioner also filed an application for grant of trading licence in proper form. The same shall be considered by respondents in accordance with law. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 22.09.2022 and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
