ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying to direct the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 25.10.2016 in proceedings Na.Ka.No. 5663 /A3 / 2016 and in proceedings
Na.Ka.No. 5663 / A2/2016 dated 19.12.2018 forwarding his application for alteration of date of birth as 15.08.1965 instead of 15.08.1961 and pass appropriate orders with all consequential benefits in accordance with law.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he entered into service on 07.03.2012. Immediately thereafter, he submitted an application for alteration of date of birth from 15.08.1961 to 15.08.1965 on 14.09.2015 enclosing copy of the certificate issued by the District Registrar certifying his birth to the first respondent through proper channel enclosing the copies of all the certificates pertaining to the same. Even after furnishing all the documents, the competent authority, namely, the first respondent has not passed any orders till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed this present Writ Petition praying to issue direction to the first respondent to pass order on the representation made by the petitioner on 14.09.2015 as early as possible.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, mainly the age of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to pass orders on the application dated 14.09.2015 made by the petitioner, which was forwarded by the second respondent on 25.10.2016 and 19.12.2018, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
