Prayer: Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to instruct the third respondent herein to sponsor petitioner name for interview and provide him suitable government job with retrospective effect from the date of appointment of petitioner immediate junior who had registered his name in the fourth respondent employment exchange with all back wages and all attendant benefits and pay petitioner compensation suitably for not sponsoring petitioner name for interview for the past more than 38 years.

O R D E R
The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to sponsor the name of the writ petitioner for recruitment to any suitable Government job with retrospective effect.
2. The said relief sought for by the petitioner is absolutely misconceived, since the writ petitioner has not established any semblance of right for entertaining the writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. For entertaining the writ petition, the right of the petitioner is to be established. The Employment Exchanges are constituted by the State Government for facilitating the unemployed youth to get prospective employment .
3. The unemployed youth are free to register their names in the employment exchange. A mere registration of their names in the employment exchange itself cannot confer any right on them or else amount to promise for securing any public employment. It is a facility provided by the State and State being a Welfare Organization has to provide for employment to redress the grievance of the unemployed youth in this Great Nation. A mere registration in the employment exchange alone can be considered as an assurance by the Government to seek public employment. Thus, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered. Further, the age of the writ petitioner is now 56 years and this court wishes him for a peaceful life hereafter. The writ petitioner at the age of 56 years, filed this writ petition, seeking a direction to the respondents to provide Government employment.
4. In these circumstances, this court is unable to consider the relief and the grounds raised in this writ petition. Thus, the writ petition stands dismissed. However there shall be no order as to costs.
