ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to reconsider the arbitration award dated 14.05.2022 in SR No. 644/2020/U2 with regard to petitioners property in Survey No. 621/1H Jittandahalli Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District by disposing of petitioners representation dated 10.05.2023 in the light of the orders passed by this Court in W.P. No. 11322 of 2022 and pass appropriate order within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2nd respondent has passed an Award on 14.05.2022, with respect to the acquisition of petitioner's land, without complying with the direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.11322 of 2022

dated 29.04.2022. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 10.05.2023, seeking for reconsideration of the Arbitration Award. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3.Today, when this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that subsequent to the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2023, the 2nd respondent has passed an Award dated 15.05.2024, by duly considering the directions of this Court in W.P.No.11322 of 2022 dated 29.04.2022. She has also produced the copy of the Award dated 15.05.2024 to that effect.

4. Heard both sides. Perused the records.

5. A perusal of the Award dated 15.05.2024 passed by the 2nd respondent clearly shows that subsequent to the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2023, the 2nd respondent after duly complying with the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.11322 of 2022 on 29.04.2022 has passed the Award dated 15.05.2024.

5. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to

challenge the Award dated 15.05.2024, in the manner known to law, if he is so aggrieved. No costs.
