ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to provide police protection for the construction of the compound wall on 17.08.2016. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

On the petitioner's complaint, the second respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.230 of 2016 for offences under Sections 452, 324 and 379 IPC against one Swaminathan and others. Now, it is contended by the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that he is constructing a compound wall and that the said Swaminathan is causing hindrance.

In this regard, the petitioner has given a complaint dated 22.07.2016 to the Superintendent of Police, Vellore, which has been received by the latter on the same day.

The petitioner is directed to go in person and file a fresh complaint before the second respondent police and on such complaint being filed, the second respondent is directed to enquire into the same by calling both the parties and provide police protection to the petitioner, if justified. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
