O R D E R

The order passed by the third respondent in proceedings dated 21.06.2014, transferring the writ petitioner from Ambattur Depot to Ennore Depot, is under challenge in this Writ Petition. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that on account of health reasons, the writ petitioner was provided with an alternate employment on light duty and accordingly he was posted to Ambattur Depot. The learned counsel further urged before this Court that as the writ petitioner cannot travel for a long distance in view of his serious illness and he has to take continuous treatment at Ambattur, pleaded that a direction may be issued to the third respondent to retain the writ petitioner in Ambattur Depot itself. 3.However, this Court is of the view that the order of transfer was issued transferring the writ petitioner from Ambattur Depot to Ennore Depot, which is not far away and the distance between those two places are short. However, this Court is of the opinion that all

those personal grievances of the writ petitioner may be considered by the competent authorities and the writ petitioner is at liberty to pursue the representation submitted by him on 08.07.2014, before the competent authority viz. the third respondent. 4.Accordingly, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 08.07.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation dated 08.07.2014, along with the order passed today (31.10.2017) in this writ petition to the third respondent forthwith. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 31.10.2017 rpa
