PRAYER:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to give a Police protection to the life and property of petitioner and her family members based upon the complaint dated 02.05.2023 as against Shiva and his family members, Devaraj, Village President, Margabandhu, Secretary, Ravichandran.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to give a Police protection to the life and property of petitioner and her family members based upon the complaint dated 02.05.2023 as against Shiva and his family members, Devaraj, Village President, Margabandhu, Secretary, Ravichandran.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that petitioner's life is threatened by respondents 4 to 7. On 30.04.2023, at about 8.a.m. respondents 4 to 7 entered into the petitioner's house, scolded her in filthy language and threatened her with knife. In this

regard, petitioner submitted a complaint dated 02.05.2023 to the second respondent. No order is passed so far. Therefore, this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.224 of 2023 is pending. 4.In the light of the submission of learned counsel appearing for parties, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.224 of 2023, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is bound to register the FIR otherwise they may close the complaint. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed. 18.05.2023 Internet:Yes Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non speaking order
