Mr.Era. Premnath, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the 1st respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to survey the land in S.F.No.3/6 in the P.Vadugupalayam Village in the Palladam Taluk, Tirupur District, after giving notice to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2nd respondent and then issue sub-divided patta after considering the objection if any made by the 2nd respondent based upon his application dated 11.05.2017.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's application dated 11.05.2017 seeking for sub division and issuance of patta, the first respondent has not passed any orders so far.

4. Mr.Era. Premnath learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application, in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 2nd respondent.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.05.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 2nd respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
