The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of her application dated 27.06.2016 in accordance with law. 2.

According to the petitioner, her husband Late Mr.V.Krishnakumar died on 20.05.2016 due to ill health. Since the petitioner and her husband purchased a few properties jointly in their names, in order to mutate the revenue records, she approached the respondent for issuance of Legal Heir Certificate and made an application in that regard on 27.06.2016. Since no reply is forthcoming from the respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.06.2016 seeking issuance of Legal Heir Certificate, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
