ORDER

The petitioner who is now working as Headmaster in Kangiyanoor Panchayat Union Middle School, Kallakurichi District, seeks for transfer to Vasantha Krishnapuram, Villupuram District. In this connection, he has given a representation on 15.05.2023. The very next day, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. This Court cannot be justified in directing the concerned respondent to consider the representation, which is just a day old in their office and in consideration of a representation that was given by 15.05.2023, may not amount to dereliction of duty of the concerned 2/4

authority. Nevertheless, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit the petitioner's mother is a heart patient and requires his care.

3. This Court is of the view that the petitioner would be granted liberty to make a fresh representation to the third respondent herein, seeking for transfer and on receipt of the same, the third respondent shall consider it, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
