ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 17.06.2022 passed in Crl.M.P.No.9697 of 2022 in Crl.M.P.No.6684 of 2022 on the file of the Learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai thereby dismissing the petition to extent the time granted in Crl.M.P.No.6684 of 2022 on the file of the Hon'ble Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2. The petitioner herein was already granted anticipatory bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.6684 of 2022 by an order dated 25.04.2022 with certain conditions. However, the petitioner failed to comply the same in time and preferred a petition seeking extension of time before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.9697 of 2022 in Crl.M.P.No.6684 of 2022 and the same was dismissed on 17.06.2022.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to some unavoidable circumstances, the petitioner was not in a position to receive the order copy, arrange and execute the sureties within the time granted. He further submitted that if the time for furnishing the sureties is extended, the petitioner is ready and willing to execute the sureties as directed by Court below. Hence, he prays to set aside the order dated 17.06.2022 passed in Crl.M.P.No.9697 of 2022 in Crl.M.P.No.6684 of 2022 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.

Considering the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered subject to following condition: "the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) as cost to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai and on such payment, the petitioner is directed to surrender and execute the sureties as ordered by the Court below, on or before 15.07.2022" Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CCC) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar mpl To
