Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records of the 1st respondent in O.M.No.C.C.2/2015 dated 08.06.2015 to quash the report of the Enquiry Committee dated 08.06.2015 on the charges framed against the petitioner. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the report of the enquiry committee in connection with the disciplinary proceedings that were initiated against the petitioner. During the pendency of the writ petition, the impugned disciplinary proceedings have been proceeded with, and final order was passed on 04.12.2024, imposing the punishment of removal from service on the petitioner.

In view of the said order passed in University Order No.842/2024 (C) dated 04.12.2024, the relief sought in this writ petition has become infructuous. However, there is no representation for the petitioner when the matter was taken up for consideration on 20.12.2024 and accordingly, the same was directed to be listed under the caption 'for

dismissal' today. Today, inspite of the matter being listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation for the petitioner. 3.

In the light of the above, this Court is convinced that the writ petition has become infructuous and the same is accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
