It appears from the records that on 12.02.2016, the petition in C.M.P.No.2338 of 2016 in S.A.S.R.No.72358 of 2012 for condoning the delay of 1254 days in filing the second appeal was allowed on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.1500/- to the Hon'ble Chief Justice Relief Fund. Indeed, in the operative portion of the order, it is specifically typed as the Chief Justice Relief Fund in stead of Chief Justice Flood Relief Fund.

3. The learned counsel has remitted the above said amount of Rs.1500/- to the Chief Justice Flood Relief Fund instead of Chief Justice Relief Fund and has also filed a memo stating that inadvertently, he had paid the cost of Rs.1500/- on 15.02.2016 to the Chief Justice Flood Relief Fund. This defect is brought to the notice of this Court, when the matter is listed today under the caption ''for being mentioned''.

In view of the above, this Court understands that the cost of Rs.1500/- has been paid towards the Chief Justice Flood Relief Fund maintained in the name of the Hon'ble Chief Justice, High Court, Madras. However, the petitioner has complied with the direction of this Court, but wrongly deposited the said cost to the Chief Justice Flood Relief Fund. Hence, this Court does not find any wrong in it. Petition is allowed.
