ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to permit the petitioner and his family members to undergo fast at any permitted place at Chennai based on the representation given to the respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Commissioner of Police, Vepery, Chennai-600 007, has passed an order dated 18.12.2015 stating that the petitioner would undergo fast in two and three places with specific earmarked places for protest in the City of Madras.

3. In view of the order dated 18.12.2015, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to make proper application before the Commissioner of Police, seeking to undergo fast in any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

one of the four places suggested by the Commissioner of Police. On such application, the Commissioner of Police shall pass orders in accordance with law.
