With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard Mr.N.Shanmuga Thayumanavan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Manohar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.The petitioner is currently working in Panchayat Union Elementary School in Kunnam, Veppur Taluk, Perambalur District. In Perambalur Block at the Arumadal Panchayat Union School, there is a person by name Mr.Qutbudin, who is in the same post as the writ petitioner. The said Mr.Qutbudin has sought for Voluntary Retirement and he is retiring with effect from 31.05.2024. The petitioner has given a representation on 08.03.2024 to consider his transfer from the institution where he is currently working to the place where Mr.Qutbudin would be working till 31.05.2024. 2/4

His grievance is that the said representation has been kept pending without passing any orders.

4. Mr.V.Manohar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and orders will be passed within a period of four weeks.

5. In the light of the above submission, the first respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 08.03.2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
