ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the seniority list dated 11.05.2022 to the post of Grade II Road Inspector and gave promotion as Grade-II Road Inspector and considering the representation dated 14.02.2022 and confer all the consequential benefits.

2. According to the petitioner, he is eligible for the promotion to the post of Grade-II Road Inspector. But the petitioner's name has not been considered by the respondents for the said promotion. Hence, the instant writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3. The petitioner states that he is entitled for promotion on the basis of the panel 2021-2022. Therefore, this Court may be direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.02.2022.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the representation dated 14.02.2022 of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with 2/5

law, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed 29.06.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No mrn 3/5
