Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the illegal and unauthorised temple constructed in Survey No.571/2 in Patta No.21392 measuring 20.99 acres in Vellanur Village, Avadi Taluk, Tiruvallur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J.SATHYA NARAYANA PRASAD, J.) Seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the illegal and unauthorised temple constructed in Survey No.571/2 in Patta No.21392 measuring 20.99 acres in Vellanur Village, Avadi Taluk, Tiruvallur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2024, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondent nos. 1,2,4 to 7 and Mr.R.Gopinath, learned counsel for the third respondent. 2/5

Learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent nos. 1,2,4 to 7 produced the written instructions dated Nil.05.2024 and submitted that the survey of the petition mentioned land is proposed to be conducted before 30.05.2024.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the sixth respondent / Tahsildar is directed to conduct survey of the petition mentioned land, after giving due notice to all the interested parties concerned and take appropriate action in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
