Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' application dated 23.12.2013 thereby to issue a patta in respect of the middle portion of the land bearing Plot No.14 and Door No.64 Veerapandia Kattabomman Salai formerly known as Kazhiveli Salai Perungudi Chennai-600 096 measuring 711 Square feet out of 3350 Square feet in favour of the petitioners.

The present writ petition is filed for a direction to consider the petitioners' application dated 23rd December, 2013 for issuance of patta in respect of the plot purchased by them bearing plot No.14 to an extent of 711 sq.ft. out of 3350 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.131 part situate at Kazhiveli Salai, now known as V.P.K.Salai, Perungudi Village, the then Tambaram Taluk, now Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. In respect of the same location, more specifically in respect of plot No.14 purchased by G.Delli Naidu, this Court passed an order on 20.11.2003 in WP.No.25093 of 2002. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that similar relief may be granted in this writ petition also. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' application dated 23.12.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
