(Order of the Court was made by J.SATHYA NARAYANA PRASAD, J.) Mr.Vasanthakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry) accepts notice for respondents 1 to 5.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.04.2024 and pass orders.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry) appearing for respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the competent authority to consider the aforementioned representation is the third respondent i.e., The Member Secretary, Yanam Planning Authority, Yanam.

5. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.04.2024, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the sixth respondent as well as rival claimants, if any, and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
